4 months old: May 4-June 4, 2014

At four months old you are still smiley and happy.  You like to sleep all swaddled up in your little coccoon, (swaddle me blanket) and snugged into the Rock N Play.  Someday we will have to transition you out of it.

You are starting to hold onto toys and move them into your mouth.  Sophie is proving to be a great friend to you, just as she was for Owen.

We tried out the Bumbo again.  This time we got better results.
At your 4 month check up you weight 13lbs and 25 1/4 inches tall.  5% for your weight and 50th for height.  Dr. Wirkus says you are doing fantastic!

Sometimes I have to take a picture of your sad face.  Just before you get really really mad you stick out your bottom lip and it's the saddest thing I've ever seen.

Then it turns into a full blown cry with big huge crocodile tears.
You LOVE to kick your legs.  Sometimes you kick them so fast and so hard they are just a blurr.
You and your big brother are good sports and keep me company on a walk or jog to the park.
You are also very patient at all the soccer games, dance performances and lessons we drive your sisters to almost every day.  It's a good thing you are mostly happy in your car seat because you spend a lot of time in it!

You are getting stronger!  You remind us of a little turtle when you hold your head up and stretch your neck out to see what's going on.
One morning you and Owen kicked your Dad and I out of our bed.
You are getting closer and closer to rolling over!

We also took a trip to the Ranch this month.  You did great in the car and loved being outside at the ranch.  You loved having so many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins around to hold you.  I have a feeling you are going to love it there almost as much as your brother.

3 months old Month 4: April 4-May 4, 2014

This was another busy month for you!  You keep proving that you are an easy going laid back little man.  You just kind of go along with whatever we are all doing, and are content and happy to be apart of it.
We took an impromptu trip up to Idaho Falls and went to to Tanner's Eagle Court of Honor.  The cousins, Aunts, Uncles and Grandma and Grandpa were so glad to have you come!

You keep growing bigger and bigger and are fitting into 3 month clothes and showing more and more expression and personality.

I tried sitting you up in the Bumbo seat.  You did not think that was cool at all!
Sometimes you get tired of people holding you all the time and you just want to stretch out and kick your legs.  We all keep saying you will be a soccer player as you kick kick kick all day long!
We put you through another long road trip and drove to Marmie and Poppy's house in California.  You were an excellent traveller and we drove all the way to Las Vegas the first night.  We spent the night there and took your dad to the airport to fly to Boston the next day.  Then it was just Mom and the kids as we drove the last few hours to California.

Once there you loved meeting new cousins and enjoying the sunshine.
 You celebrated your first Easter.
And looked so handsome in your new Easter outfit with bow tie.

I spent a few nights with both Owen and you in my bed.
We spent the rest of the week down at the beach and you again loved being in the sunshine.  This time you enjoyed the water a little bit more.

You are such a happy, healthy, darling little boy and I am so happy you are in our family!

2 months old March 4-April 4, 2014

This was such a busy month for such a tiny little guy!  We had a lot of visitors come to our house to celebrate your life and participate in your name and blessing given at church by your dad.

You looked darling in the little suit your dad and big brother wore on their blessing day.  Everyone loved the addition of the BYU sneakers!  You were a little fussy during the blessing, but I think you just wanted your voice heard.  Your dad gave you a beautiful blessing with the love and support of many wonderful priesthood leaders; Poppy Stowell, Grandpa Stohl, Uncle Robert, Uncle Nathan, Uncle Scott, Bishop Wouden, Brother Newman, Brother Fonda, and Brother Wiley.

I love how you look at your big brother.  I can only imagine what kind of mischief the two of you are going to get into in the coming years.
Levi had a check up and didn't like it.  10lbs, 10oz.  3rd% for weight...he's just a little guy.
He almost rolled over on the exam table.  He loved how the paper crinkled and made noise while he laid on it.

He was one unhappy boy after getting those shots!

Levi sure is a mostly happy little boy!  he is so content and happy.  He loves to look around and take in the world around him.  There is so much for those big eyes to take in!  I would love to take a peek inside your little (big) brain and see how it's processing all this new information.
We've had some cooler weather days.  I was happy because I got to put you in this darling sweater and hood.  I'm not sure you were too impressed with it!
Lucky for you, we got to leave the cold and snow of Utah and you and me and your dad boarded a plane that took us all the way to Hawaii!  You pretty much slept like this the whole way!
We took you to shave ice.
We took you on a boat to see Pearl Harbor.
You loved being on the beach listening to the waves.

We hiked up to the top of Diamond Head crater.
We took naps on the lanai.
We rode bikes to Ted's Bakery for donuts and down to the beach and the Elephant Thai food truck for dinner.

We had a great trip to Hawaii and you loved being in the sun and listening to the sound of the waves.  You did not like dipping your toes in the ocean, but you loved having so many people around to hold you and love you.
