Six months old, July 4-August 4, 2014

The whole Country celebrated your sixth month birthday with us!  We were in Ashton, Idaho at the Ranch for the Fourth of July, and we had a little party for our big boy who has thrived his first half year!

I made you 1/2 of an angel food cake.  You loved smashing it and feeling it in your fingers.

Then you got a little taste of the cake and decided it was much better to just put your face in it.

Daddy set off some fireworks that night.  You were not a fan.
A few days later you had your 6 month check up with Doctor Wirkus.  He says you are perfect in every way.

Sixth Month Stats
Weight: 14lbs 13 oz. 2%
Length: 27.5 inches 75%
Head: 17 inches 50%

We spent a day at the new Museum of Curiosity with your cousins.  You and Ivy loved playing in the baby water table!  You splashed and splashed and splashed!

You enjoyed the 24th of July fireworks much better than the 4 of July ones.  John Wiley loves to hold you and you snuggled up with him during the fireworks.

Everyone comments on what a happy smiley boy you are.  They are right!

You are even getting big enough to sit up in the big seat of the shopping cart!

Finally, your bottom two teeth started to cut through!  You were such a trooper and your teething happened very fast!  One day there were no teeth and the next, there they were!

Five Months Old June 4-July 4, 2014

Another busy month of learning, and growing for Levi this month.  You have discovered your toes and love to grab them and even put them in your mouth to suck on them!

You are twisting and turning and trying to move all over the place.  One morning I  heard you in awake in your sleeper and came in to find you almost twisted clear out of it!  I hate to say it but I think it's time to move you to your crib!

When you do sleep in the rock n play you look all scrunched up like a little peanut.

We tried some baby cereal to eat this month.  You are not quite sure about it.

Just like your big brother you love Sophie the Giraffe.

We keep going with feeding you cereal.  You are getting the hang of it and making big messes in the process.

We went ahead and moved you to your big crib.  You do pretty good in there as long as you are sleeping on your tummy.
You also mastered the art of rolling!  I put you in the middle of your playmat and came back to find you far away!
You got to go on a special trip to the Teton Mountains.  You and Owen and Mommy, Marmie, Aunt Erin, Kristen and Tess and some other extended family members spent a beautiful weekend in the Teton Mountains!

Keep growing big and strong little man!
