Five Months Old June 4-July 4, 2014

Another busy month of learning, and growing for Levi this month.  You have discovered your toes and love to grab them and even put them in your mouth to suck on them!

You are twisting and turning and trying to move all over the place.  One morning I  heard you in awake in your sleeper and came in to find you almost twisted clear out of it!  I hate to say it but I think it's time to move you to your crib!

When you do sleep in the rock n play you look all scrunched up like a little peanut.

We tried some baby cereal to eat this month.  You are not quite sure about it.

Just like your big brother you love Sophie the Giraffe.

We keep going with feeding you cereal.  You are getting the hang of it and making big messes in the process.

We went ahead and moved you to your big crib.  You do pretty good in there as long as you are sleeping on your tummy.
You also mastered the art of rolling!  I put you in the middle of your playmat and came back to find you far away!
You got to go on a special trip to the Teton Mountains.  You and Owen and Mommy, Marmie, Aunt Erin, Kristen and Tess and some other extended family members spent a beautiful weekend in the Teton Mountains!

Keep growing big and strong little man!

4 months old: May 4-June 4, 2014

At four months old you are still smiley and happy.  You like to sleep all swaddled up in your little coccoon, (swaddle me blanket) and snugged into the Rock N Play.  Someday we will have to transition you out of it.

You are starting to hold onto toys and move them into your mouth.  Sophie is proving to be a great friend to you, just as she was for Owen.

We tried out the Bumbo again.  This time we got better results.
At your 4 month check up you weight 13lbs and 25 1/4 inches tall.  5% for your weight and 50th for height.  Dr. Wirkus says you are doing fantastic!

Sometimes I have to take a picture of your sad face.  Just before you get really really mad you stick out your bottom lip and it's the saddest thing I've ever seen.

Then it turns into a full blown cry with big huge crocodile tears.
You LOVE to kick your legs.  Sometimes you kick them so fast and so hard they are just a blurr.
You and your big brother are good sports and keep me company on a walk or jog to the park.
You are also very patient at all the soccer games, dance performances and lessons we drive your sisters to almost every day.  It's a good thing you are mostly happy in your car seat because you spend a lot of time in it!

You are getting stronger!  You remind us of a little turtle when you hold your head up and stretch your neck out to see what's going on.
One morning you and Owen kicked your Dad and I out of our bed.
You are getting closer and closer to rolling over!

We also took a trip to the Ranch this month.  You did great in the car and loved being outside at the ranch.  You loved having so many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins around to hold you.  I have a feeling you are going to love it there almost as much as your brother.
