1 month old February 4-March 4, 2014

Levi officially turned 1 month old!  Where did the last month go?  We are thinking he is close to 9lbs and he is filling out his newborn size clothes.  He loves to be held.  All the time.  He is actually pretty content and mellow and only gets really upset when he is hungry.  He does well in his car seat which is good because he spends a lot of time in it driving with me to run the kids around town.  He is most awake and fussy between 8pm and midnight.  Sometimes I can get him to sleep until 3 or 3:30, and once until 4, but I was holding him all that time.  He will do about 2 hours or so in his rock and play and then he just wants to be snuggled.

Our little Levi is doing great!  He is growing and getting bigger.  He is starting to lose the newborn look and is looking more and more like a baby.  He makes the funniest facial expressions and the girls are always wanting a turn to hold him.  Even Owen will say, "aw my brudder is so cute!  I wanna hold him!"  I will set Levi in is lab and about 2 seconds later Owen declares he is done and pushes him away.

You went to your first movie, The Lego Movie.  You did great through the movie and slept and ate through the whole thing!

You are proving to be a tummy sleeper just like your mom and the rest of your sisters and brother.  Sometimes I let you nap on your tummy for a couple hours during the day when I can check on you often.

We are loving the slightly warmer weather and getting out and about in the stroller.

Hey Little Brand New Baby! Jan 4-February 4, 2014

I'm not sure if Levi knew just what he would be coming home too.   Owen was asleep when we got home and the girls were at school.  When Owen woke up, he wanted nothing to do with his brother.  He hid under a pillow and told me to take him away.  After a few minutes he emerged and came over to investigate our newest family member.

Kristen and Tess also came over for a visit.
And Marmie flew in to meet her 5th grandson.  Scott and Maureen also came by to visit.
Finally, Owen asked to hold his baby brudder.

You love to sleep all snugged up in the rock n play.

Levi got his first real bath.  He wasn't too sure about it.

Two boys and nap time hasn't been working out too well.
Uncle Nate came by for a visit.

We ventured out to the mall to ride the train.  Owen loved it.  You slept through all of it.

Levi had his 2 week check up and is doing great! He weighs in at 7 lbs 4 oz and is healthy as can be.  He has a little birth mark on his back that could possibly be a sign of a spinal cord issue.  We scheduled an ultra sound to rule anything out.
Ultra-Sound day at Primary children's.  He slept through the whole thing and got a clean bill of health. His spine looks great!

We walked to the school for Libby's science fair.

These two brothers are pretty sweet.
Your sad face is pretty much the saddest face I've ever seen.

But, that smile with those dimples make my heart melt.

We also all love your startled poop face.
With the girls off track and looking for adventure, we decided to be brave and head down south to Saint George.  You were a fantastic traveller and slept all the way to Cedar City!  We got to see Grandma and Grandpa at their trailer in Hurricane and then went on to see and stay at the McCoy's home in Saint George.  The boys weren't sure about sleeping in a new place, so we al slept together.  Sean came down on the shuttle the next evening and we had a nice weekend together.
You went to the temple visitor's center.
And out to dinner with the grown ups.
On the drive back home you had an awesome blowout.  Dad wasn't sure how to clean it all up without from me.  But, I couldn't help until I snapped a picture.
